5' Cedar Porch Glider W/stained Finish, Amish Crafted OverviewsThis spacious extra wide 5' Western Red Cedar Glider comfortably seats two - great for patios. The wood glider is 34-1/2" high x 64" wide x 27" deep and made of Western Red Cedar. Our lawn furniture is shipped partially assembled, with easy to follow setup instructions. The 5' version has a 2nd set of seat crosses/back crosses - which further strengthens our already study glider. The 5' version fits both larger folks and larger spaces on your porch. Our seats are contoured for comfort. All our gliders have ball-bearing glider mechanisms for smooth gliding action.All of our patio furniture products are made from natural tight knotty Western Red Cedar with non-staining hardware. Western Red Cedar is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and naturally resistant to splitting, cupping, and warping. Western Red Cedar gives our patio furniture strength, beauty & natural resistance to the elements.We offer both a more compact 4' glider and a dual seat 6' settee glider.**We are using Silicone Magic, with a cedar tint to enchance the finish. It is Ecologically safe, water based, clear drying, penetrating and highly flexible film. Extensive breathability, allowing air to escape from substrate. Silicon Magic has excellent water-repelling characteristics for long term protection. Additonal properties include excellent resistance to mildew, chemicals, and UV - with exceptional additives for UV, mildew and insect protection. as well as color enhancement. This was easy to assemble and looks beautiful. I wasn't expecting high gloss because somewhere in the description it mentions the type of finish used. It went into use immediately and became a favorite for reading, knitting, watching the sun go down, stargazing etc.
